Fifty percent of the gasoline used in highway driving is used to overcome wind resistance - the faster you go, the more you consume. Consider lightening your foot on the gas pedal by a few miles per hour, save fuel and watch the pennies pile up...and remember to turn off you engine if you will be at an idle for more than just a minute or two! Why not encourage your child's school to post "No Idle Zone" signs?
