This looks like a great idea. Green is hip, hot, happening, and helpful! Florida is falling behind the rest of the nation in green thinking, particularly in the area of renewable energy. Florida has long been a leader in solar pool heating installations, but we are not keeping up with the rest of the nation and world with adoption of green technologies. There are dedicated people in Southwest Florida who have supported solar over the years. It’s time to get the word out and spread the news!
Best of luck with the U Gotta Go Green website!

Thanks for your comments Jason and also for your early support! We are continuing to work on getting all aspects of the site up and running to full functionality but have encountered some stumbling blocks along the way…we appreciate your patience!
And yes, I do agree with you that Florida lags behind much of the rest of the country and the rest of the world for that matter, in being forward-thinking about the pressing environmental issues that confront us.
We need to get that “critical mass” of individuals together whose unity and commitment can lead the forward charge and then keep the momentum going!
LET’S DO IT!!!!
P.S. Why don’t you join us at the 350.org 10.10.10 Global Party planning gathering at Books A Million in Naples at 7:00 pm on Thursday April 29th (and bring everyone you know who could be a mover and shaker in helping to make this a significant and high profile event!)
