Businesses may qualify on the basis one or many of the following:
■Offer a service that supports or enables greater environmental sustainability or reduces waste, energy and utilization of natural resources.
■Offer a “green”, sustainable, eco-friendly or organic product, preferably locally produced, prepared or packaged.
■Conduct business operations, manufacturing or service provision in a sustainable and socially just manner.
■Be actively engaged in reducing carbon emissions, waste, energy and utilization of natural resources with an ongoing commitment to becoming a bonefide "Green Business".
